Joseph Kane posted a new career-high in stolen bases on Wednesday. He scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. McCluer North is undefeated when Kane posts two or more stolen bases, but 4-9 otherwise.

Kane's strong effort led McCluer North over McCluer and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Stars are a perfect 10-0 against the Comets going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
