Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Merrimack). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Manchester Central Little Green a 13-0 shutout on Friday. The Tomahawks haven't had any issues with the Little Green recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Merrimack back to even at 3-3-1. As for Manchester Central, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Merrimack will venture away from home to face off against Pinkerton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manchester Central, they will head out to take on Spaulding at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The Little Green are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
