Soccer Game Preview: Park City vs. Lone Peak

The Park City Miners will take on the Lone Peak Knights at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Park City and Wasatch, and Wasatch kept the tradition alive. The Miners fell just short of the Wasps by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Park City have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Lone Peak ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past Olympus 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for Lone Peak, who have now won three games in a row.

Kate Fuller and Jane Christensen scored both of Lone Peak's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Park City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lone Peak, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
