Basketball Recap: Newfound Regional Comes Up Short

Newfound Regional lost against Winnisquam back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Newfound Regional Bears received a blow as they fell 53-39 to the Winnisquam Bears.

Newfound Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Winnisquam, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10.

Newfound Regional will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Berlin at 6:00 p.m. Berlin's defense has only allowed 24 points per game this season, so Newfound Regional's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Winnisquam, they will head out to face off against Somersworth at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
