Baseball Game Preview: Bozeman Bucks vs. Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors

For the second straight game, Bozeman will face off against Trinity Christian Academy. The Bucks will head out to challenge the Conquerors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bozeman 3.4, Trinity Christian Academy 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Bozeman heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Monday. They came up short against Trinity Christian Academy, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Bucks seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

For Trinity Christian Academy's part, Bozeman's batters probably weren't too happy with Aaron Watson, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (he gave up zero walks). Watson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Trinity Christian Academy let Jordan Martinez and Parker Loew run wild. Martinez went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double, while Loew went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs Martinez has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ethan Wheeler, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Trinity Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Bozeman, their loss dropped their record down to 26-7.
