Soccer Game Preview: Guyer vs. Coppell

The Guyer Wildcats will challenge the Coppell Cowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guyer will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Guyer is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Braswell onto the board and left with an 8-0 win last Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bengals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Guyer's offense was hitting Braswell from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Coppell faced Hebron in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Coppell fell just short of Hebron by a score of 1-0. That makes it the first time this season the Cowboys have let down their home crowd.

Having lost for the first time this season, Coppell fell to 12-1. As for Guyer, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
