Soccer Recap: Marianna Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Marianna was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Franklin County Seahawks by a score of 2-1.

Marianna's goal came courtesy of Gabe Rivera, who's now up to six this season.

Marianna has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-2 record this season. As for Franklin County, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9-5.

Marianna does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Franklin County has also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Munroe on the 17th.
