Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Keller Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-17.

Keller's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lauren Scheiden led the charge by getting nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces Scheiden has posted since back in August. Haylee Wilkinson also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Keller, their win bumped their record up to 22-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity is set to challenge their familiar foe V.R. Eaton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Keller will square off against rival Timber Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
