Softball Recap: Harrison's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Harrison brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They came out on top against the Berryville Bobcats by a score of 16-13 on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Goblins as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Harrison got a massive performance out of Jordin Quandt, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits Quandt has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Marlee Raines, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 3-20. As for Berryville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Harrison will face off against Alma at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Berryville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
