After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Hardin, Whitefield Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They breezed past the Jeffersontown Chargers to the tune of 58-6. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Whitefield Academy had a senior duo take command as Noel Smith dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 boards and Gwynnie Franz shot 43% from the field on her way to 29 points. That's the most rebounds Smith has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Sharon Riis, who earned two points and five steals.
Whitefield Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 20-3 when they've passed the ball that well.
