Meanwhile, Valley has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.75 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 12-6 to Unioto. The Indians have struggled against the Shermans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Zane Trace's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Zane Trace came up short against Valley when the teams last played back in April, falling 10-7. Can the Pioneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
