Willow Spring waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Clayton Comets by a score of 6-1. That's two games straight that the Storm have won by exactly five runs.
Luke Doreauk tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March of 2024.
On the hitting side, Bryce Marsh was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Colby Harbin, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
