Basketball Recap: DeKalb Takes a Loss

DeKalb lost against South Holt back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The DeKalb Tigers were dealt a 73-20 defeat at the hands of the South Holt Knights. The loss leaves the Tigers without a win on the season.

DeKalb's record is now 0-9. As for South Holt, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

DeKalb will head out to face off against Winston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Holt, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mound City at 7:30 p.m. South Holt is facing Mound City at the right time seeing as Mound City is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
