Round Rock is 9-1 against Round Rock Westwood since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Dragons will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Round Rock's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.

Round Rock easily dispatched Manor last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Dragons fell just short of Hutto by a score of 33-31 on Friday. The Dragons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Brady Cochran, who rushed for 103 yards and a pair of TDs. Another passer making a difference was Dov Stickler, who threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns while completing 82.6% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Round Rock Westwood started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Hutto. They took a 34-18 bruising from the Hippos two weeks ago. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Round Rock will have to contain Wade Allen as he made an impact in Round Rock Westwood's last game. He rushed for 120 yards and one score. Allen's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 120 rushing yards.

Round Rock now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Round Rock Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Cochran and Allen. Cochran just won't slow down this season and has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 91.6 rushing yards per game. Allen has been a dominant force too and has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 149.7 rushing yards per game.

Everything came up roses for Round Rock against Round Rock Westwood in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 37-7 win. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
