Southeast Kansas Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Aaron Tunstall's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Field Kindley over Mulvane
Starting off the list is Field Kindley's Aaron Tunstall, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tunstall rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
Mulvane's probably not too fond of Tunstall given he always seems to get the better of them. Tunstall rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in September of 2023.

Jamaal Jackson Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Labette County got the W thanks in part to Jamaal Jackson playing the best football he has all season. Jackson rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 146 or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Independence's probably not too fond of Jackson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Jackson last faced the Bulldogs back in October of 2023, he rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown.
