League recap: East Union climbs in standings with win

East Union was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fifth in 8-Man District 6 (8 Man). The Eagles beat Ankeny Christian Academy 48-20 earlier in the week.

Lamoni was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Colo-NESCO. The Demons came in at 22 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Grandview Park Baptist takes on Adair-Casey. As it stands, the Defenders are in fourth, while the Bombers are in first.

Adair-Casey added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Murray, 85-54. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
