Carey and Seneca East are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Blue Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Carey's offense. They lost 11-0 to Mohawk on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Seneca East earned a 6-2 win over Bucyrus on Monday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Redmen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Braydon Robinson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Deacon Lacy also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Seneca East's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Carey, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4.

Carey came out on top in a nail-biter against Seneca East in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 6-5. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
