South Columbus waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They never let the Heide Trask Titans get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Stallions, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Columbus' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Heide Trask, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Columbus will take on West Bladen in a tournament on the 19th. As for Heide Trask, they will challenge East Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gators have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
