Nixon extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Mason Vela. The Nixon Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Mission Eagles 86-51 thanks in part to Vela, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine assists. The game was his sixth in a row with at least ten points.

Mark Ordonez also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season. What's more, he also racked up 11 points, the most he's had since back in November of 2024.
