Durham Academy won the last time they faced Forsyth Country Day and things went their way on Friday too. The Cavaliers blew past the Furies 3-0.

Durham Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Forsyth Country Day between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-14.

Serena Weiss paced Durham Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Weiss got some help from Hayley Skye and her 28 assists. Mailyn Moore controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Durham Academy's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. As for Forsyth Country Day, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
