Soccer Recap: Copperas Cove Comes Up Short

Copperas Cove lost against Harker Heights back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs came up short against the Harker Heights Knights, falling 4-1. The Bulldawgs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Giovani Guerrero, which was the first he's scored this season.

Copperas Cove's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Harker Heights, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Copperas Cove and Harker Heights will both be playing Shoemaker the next time they take the pitch. Copperas Cove will host Shoemaker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harker Heights will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
