Football Game Preview: John Adams Rebels vs. John Hay

John Adams is 2-8 against John Hay since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against John Hay at 3:30 p.m. John Adams has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 137 points over their last three matchups.

John Adams proved they can win big on October 3rd (they won by 41) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out John Marshall 44-42.

Meanwhile, John Hay fell victim to Glenville and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Tarblooders. While losing is never fun, John Hay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 581st, while Glenville is ranked 24th).

John Adams' win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for John Hay, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
