After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Palo Alto, Milpitas was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Santa Clara Bruins 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-2 win back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 25-12.

Elvis Le paced Milpitas' offense, picking up nine kills. Le got some help from Justin Wang and his 19 assists. Wang was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Milpitas is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Santa Clara, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

Milpitas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Piedmont Hills on the 2nd. As for Santa Clara, they will be playing in front of their home fans against MacDonald at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. The Bruins are facing the Condor at the right time seeing as the Condor are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
