Baseball Recap: Oakleaf Comes Up Short

Oakleaf came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Farragut Admirals, falling 14-6.

Jeter Farina was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Oakleaf: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Jay Arzuaga-Flores was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Oakleaf now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Farragut, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
