Basketball Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Baldwin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 30-21 to the King Kekaulike Na Ali'i. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly nine points.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for King Kekaulike, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maui at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. King Kekaulike will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Lahainaluna at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
