Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central last Saturday, Wissahickon came back down to earth. The Wissahickon Trojans were dealt a 68-33 defeat at the hands of the Upper Dublin Cardinals on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Wissahickon's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Upper Dublin, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.

When Wissahickon and Upper Dublin next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Wissahickon will take on Plymouth Whitemarsh and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Upper Dublin will try to stop Abington's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
