Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. James). Everything went their way against the Monsignor McClancy Crusaders on Friday as they made off with a 15-5 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Sharks considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Hunter Pedrick looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Jackson Squires was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Sobczyk, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

St. James' victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Monsignor McClancy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. James will head out to challenge North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monsignor McClancy, they will venture away from home to square off against Archbishop Molloy at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
