Palmyra-Macedon benefitted from Stephens in 9-8 win
Palmyra-Macedon was led to victory by Isiah Stephens, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Stephens was dynamite, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
Stephens' strong effort led Palmyra-Macedon over Waterloo and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Palmyra-Macedon is 9-1 against Waterloo going back to May of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
