Softball Game Preview: Argo Argonauts vs. Shepard Astros

Argo is 0-10 against Shepard since May of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Argonauts will look to defend their home field against the Astros at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Argo 3.3, Shepard 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Monday just wasn't the day for Argo's offense. They lost 7-0 to Reavis on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Argonauts' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Shepard came up short against Richards on Monday and fell 5-2. The Astros have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Argo's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Shepard, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 21-6.
