Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hammondsport). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Marion Black Knights 73-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lakers have posted since January 4, 2024.

Hammondsport's win bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Marion, they are on a 38-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

Looking ahead, Hammondsport is taking a road trip to square off against Jasper-Troupsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Jasper-Troupsburg's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Hammondsport has been banged up by 12 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Marion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
