Volleyball Recap: Redmond Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hazen on Tuesday, Redmond came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Woodinville Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Redmond started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 28-30, 18-25, 25-21, 25-21, 16-14.

Redmond's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Woodinville, their record is now 9-5.

Looking ahead, Redmond will take on Juanita at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Mustangs have won ten straight at home dating back to last season, while the Ravens won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Woodinville, they will face off against Inglemoor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
