Tokay waltzed into their match on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Franklin Yellowjackets by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Tokay had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-14, 25-7, 25-17.

Alyssa Wilson paced Tokay's offense, picking up nine kills. Wilson got some help from Kalleigh Lepard and her 14 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Karen Castro, who had 21 digs. Castro has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

Tokay's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 8-19 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Tokay has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Weston Ranch on the 22nd. As for Franklin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Edison on the 22nd.
