It was a good run, but Calumet Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their 23-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Grace Academy Knights. The shutout was out of character for the Patriots seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Hannah Rohn paced Calumet Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Rohn got some help from Jenna Henthorne and her nine assists. Carolyn Archer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Grace Academy can attribute much of their success to Anjali Vemuri, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Calumet Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 39-5. As for Grace Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

Calumet Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 25th. As for Grace Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against The Rock on the 25th.
