Basketball Game Preview: Lutheran Gryphons vs. Ecole Classique Spartans

The Lutheran Gryphons will head out to take on the Ecole Classique Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Lutheran had to suffer through a 49-19 loss at the hands of Grand Isle. The Gryphons haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

As for Ecole Classique, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 0-4.

Lutheran beat Ecole Classique 43-31 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lutheran since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
