Basketball Recap: Arroyo Valley Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 22-22 at halftime, Arroyo Valley was not quite Banning's equal in the second half on Friday. The match between them and the Banning Broncos didn't end well, with the Arroyo Valley Hawks falling 52-35. The Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Arroyo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Banning, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arroyo Valley will head out to face off against Baldwin Park at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Banning, they are taking a road trip to challenge Entrepreneur at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
