North Shore is 10-0 against Kingwood since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The North Shore Mustangs will welcome the Kingwood Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North Shore is returning to their home court after beating Humble on theirs, despite the fact Humble has dominated at home this season. North Shore strolled past Humble with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 43-27. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Kingwood can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over Goose Creek Memorial.

North Shore is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Kingwood, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-15.

Everything came up roses for North Shore against Kingwood in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 57-27 victory. Will North Shore repeat their success, or does Kingwood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
