Softball Recap: Bishop Gorman Triumphs

Bishop Gorman lost to Basic back in May of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Bishop Gorman Gaels walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Basic Wolves. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Gaels.

MAKAMAE EUGENIO was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). EUGENIO was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

In other batting news, BROOKLYN HICKS was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. RAELYNN BROWN was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
