Basketball Recap: Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory at Home

Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Marlboro Academy Dragons 64-38. The matchup was close at halftime, but the Saints turned on the heat in the second half with 36 points.

Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Ayden Leith, who shot 63% from the field en route to 29 points in addition to eight assists and seven steals. The game was Leith's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Hall, who posted six points and nine rebounds.

Coming up, Christian Academy will host Southeastern Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marlboro Academy has already played their next contest (against Christ the Cornerstone Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
