After a string of six wins, Lake Norman Charter's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They and the Mooresville Blue Devils finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Lake Norman Charter's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Caroline Mercuri, who's now up to 31 this season.

Lake Norman Charter's draw gives them a new season record of 13-2-1. As for Mooresville, they moved theirs to 9-3-3.

Lake Norman Charter and Mooresville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Knights will take on South Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (69 vs. 212). Meanwhile, Mooresville (ranked 23rd) will meet A.L. Brown (ranked 211th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
