Volleyball Recap: Daviess County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Daviess County lost against Breckinridge County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Fighting Tigers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since October 21, 2024.

While Daviess County was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-23.

Daviess County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Breckinridge County, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Daviess County will host Owensboro Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Breckinridge County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Madisonville-North Hopkins on the 19th.
