Volleyball Recap: Rocklin Picks Up 14th Consecutive Win

With a playoff win on the line, Rocklin rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Branson Bulls, sneaking past 3-2. The Thunder are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Rocklin got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 21-25, 29-27, 21-25, 15-6.

Sidney Jones paced Rocklin's offense, picking up 18 kills. Jones got some help from Ava Pabalate and her 53 assists. Devon Schweitzer and Sophie Burns kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Rocklin's victory bumped their record up to 36-4. As for Branson, they moved to 21-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Rocklin will take on Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Branson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
