Soccer Game Preview: Andrada Polytechnic vs. Catalina

The Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks will venture away from home to challenge the Catalina Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Andrada Polytechnic fell victim to Tanque Verde and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 14-0. Andrada Polytechnic haven't had much luck with Tanque Verde recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Catalina also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Sabino on Tuesday.

Andrada Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Catalina, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Andrada Polytechnic beat Catalina by a goal when the teams last played back in January of 2025, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mavericks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
