Meanwhile, Cardinal Mooney unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Tuesday. They fell just short of Out-of-Door Academy by a score of 2-1. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.
Their goal came courtesy of Samuel Shamsey, who's now up to four this season.
North Port has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
