Softball Recap: Incarnate Word Comes Up Short

Incarnate Word managed to slip by Concordia Lutheran the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Shamrocks came up short against the Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 8-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Shamrocks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Incarnate Word has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Incarnate Word nor Concordia Lutheran have any future games scheduled.
