Soccer Game Preview: Centerpoint vs. Harmony Grove

The Centerpoint Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Harmony Grove Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Centerpoint came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-2 to Cossatot River. The Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Harmony Grove's offense. They came up short against Subiaco Academy on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centerpoint fell to 2-1. As for Harmony Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Centerpoint's way against Harmony Grove when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Centerpoint made off with a 12-2 win. Does Centerpoint have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harmony Grove turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
