There's no place like home for Southwest Guilford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Southeast Guilford Falcons by a score of 16-11 on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The team relied heavily on Makayla Stefanik, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Stewart, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Southwest Guilford's record now sits at 10-8. As for Southeast Guilford, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Guilford will host Grimsley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southeast Guilford, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m.
