John Battle hadn't done well against Central Wise recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Trojans were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for John Battle, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Central Wise from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Abram Waddle led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

John Battle pushed their record up to 11-8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three games. As for Central Wise, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
