Basketball Recap: Rising Star Takes a Loss

Rising Star was the 42-35 winner over Sidney when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Rising Star Wildcats took a 28-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sidney Eagles on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rising Star's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Sidney, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Rising Star will take on Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Iredell will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Rising Star surely won't give up without a fight. Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
