Salisbury School waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Brunswick School Bruins 11-1. The Crimson Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.

Salisbury School got a great performance from Matt Chirumbolo as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

At the plate, Michael Fiatarone was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Kaleb Traylor also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Salisbury School kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brunswick School only managed five hits.

Salisbury School's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Brunswick School, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Salisbury School didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Wilbraham & Monson Academy on the 3rd. As for Brunswick School, they will be playing at home against Cheshire Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cats have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
