South Lyon East moved up to 176 from 213 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Kensington Lakes - Central. The Cougars climbed the ranks as a result of besting Pinckney 26-19.

South Lyon East made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,904 from 5,922. The improvement was the result of 26-19 victory over the Pirates last week.

Mike Lindman's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cameron Thomas threw for 307 and three touchdowns and Wade Morris had 194 yards receiving. On the ground Alex Spratke chipped in 83 yards. Spratke helped South Lyon East's passing attack out by catching five balls for 43 yards.

South Lyon East's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Thomas has thrown for 1778 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Morris has 46 catches for 680 yards. Spratke leads the league in rushing with 575 yards.
